Did you know that a Dragonfly can fly both forwards and backwards, hover, and make sudden turns? With its quick darting movements, the Dragonfly appears to be a living flash of light. It is the state insect of Alaska because its flying is reminiscent of the skillful bush pilots maneuvers. The Dragonfly is also a wonderful symbol of change and self-realization, bringing a sense of joy and lightness to life.
