The Human Intelligence Collection introduces four new colours for 2027, inspired by the enduring qualities of human creativity. Bubblegum captures a spirit of optimism and imagination. Burgundy expresses passion and determination. Moss reflects resilience and growth. Dove brings a sense of balance and considered thought. Curated as a contemporary palette for writers, thinkers, and makers, the collection celebrates the ideas, perspectives, and moments that are uniquely our own. In an age shaped by artificial intelligence, Human Intelligence honours the creativity that cannot be replicated: individual, instinctive, and unmistakably human.

LEUCHTTURM1917 is reviving the Drehgriffel from the 1920s.The name Drehgriffel is a German compound noun that directly translates as twist stylus. Its characteristic design makes this writing instrument truly distinctive: a hexagonal body with a pointed tip, which, like the twist button, is in a contrasting colour. The Drehgriffel is made from precision-milled aluminium and brass, then painted and sealed. It uses a spring-loaded twist mechanism. The Drehgriffel Nr. 1 is a ballpoint with royal blue ink.
