Description The 1st book in the Daisy Series Children’s book in collaboration with Formula Female Proceeds will support children’s services through the CUH charity. These books are written and illustrated by Irish author Laura Hannon. I am a mechanical engineer by day and Ive worked in a male-dominated area for over 10 years. It wasnt always easy and I had to learn a lot of tough lessons along the way. Ultimately I needed to learn to believe in myself and never let anyone tell me I cant do something. Daisy is my way of sharing this message. My dream is to empower girls and help the next generation to believe that anything is possible. Daisy has inspired me to enter the Formula Woman competition to try to become a race car driver. I hope my books inspire you to do something youve always dreamed of, just like me.
