The sponge is ideal for clay sculpting and finishing pottery projects due to its superb moisture absorbency and tear resistance. The sponge is also very useful when throwing to add and control the application of water during each throw. The sponge is a soft natural sea sponge and has a fine pore texture.

The sponge is also great for watercolour washes or soaking, stretching papers and other painting techniques.
